Should women be treated as equals?

Why are women payed less though even though they are equal?

Would you trust enjoy being under the employment of a female CEO?

Why do you think that women are discriminated against? Because they are weaker?

  1. Q4: Women are discriminated against not because they are weaker, but because they are viewed as less capable and have different expectations from society than men. They are discriminated against because that is how people are taught from an early age from tradition. Women have been viewed as inferior since the beginning of time, but that needs to end because that is no longer the case, if it ever was. The way the world is now, we need equality in order to perform and achieve the best we can

  2. If I was under the employment of a woman CEO, I would feel confident we were getting something done. I feel women are just as able as men to get the job done. They are organized and willing to do anything a man can do. Although some men may be nervous or unsure of having a woman CEO. But we should assure them that a women can be just as good as a man.

  3. Yes, I believe that women should be treated as equals. They do the same work, have the same job, and just because their are biological differences between a man and a woman should not be a factor in treating women as equals. While it is true that there are some things that a woman cannot do as well as a man can, that can easily be reversed in the fact that their are some things that men cannot do as well as woman. There will always be some differences between the sexes, but the one difference that shouldn't matter is their gender. That should be taken out of the equation when determining how well they can function in society and the workforce.

  4. Having a woman CEO is not at all different than having a man. So,you should still be giving them the same respect, due to the fact that they can fire you whenever they want. It doesn't matter what gender they are, it matters on if they are a fair employer, and if you enjoy working under them. You should always suck up to them.

  5. I think women are discriminated against because of stereotypes and past roles they have had in society. In the past, most all women were to stay at home to cook, clean, and care for the children. This is because as the bearer of the children, the mother is seen as the loving care taker and is therefore given that role. Throughout history that has been the reality. This no longer works in our society, and it is hard for many people to think beyond this. These ideas are implanted in us, by what we are told and see.

  6. I think women are discriminated against because they have a different skill set. Having a women CEO Would be fine as long as she's earned it.

  7. I think women would make excilent CEOs because they are often strong minded and work very well in high powered situations. Some work even better than males. Of course, it depends on the person, but I believe if you are able to work up to that position then you must have the mind set to fulfill it.
